Take out food is not included the coverage of tips. Because we pay tips for their serves.
As we do not give tips, so you will not get pay, well, okay, do whatever you want. Im gonna go another shops or restaurant.
If the truck driver need to get tips, how bout other workers who work for bidding process? sales men? whose necessary makes this dealing?
Food chain buy ingredients for making their product, but it does not mean that they are
offered from ingredient supplier free of charge. Normally transportation cost is included in prices within the bidding process (or not, food chain will contract with his company. A compensation on his labors is included in his salary. If it is not enough, he should negotiate it with his company, not requests tips to food chains. I dont know, I might be a temperary workers, but I do not think his lack of ability need to be compensated by customers. We already pay all of the cost with product price! Do not ask us to pay more!! maybe your tips are included in the some of companies benefits.
Anyway, the driver was fired, because he was whining that he did not get tips from customer. His company's behavior is wrong. But it does not mean we have to give tips to all of staffs who serve us.
And, I cant find any differences between USA/Canada's tip customs and European one.
